We are currently in search of a Administrative Assistant for an social services organization. The position is based in Washington, DC. This is a part-time, temporary assignment.

 

ORGANIZATION TYPE: Social Services organization

LOCATION: Washington, DC

POSITION TITLE: Administrative Assistant

DURATION: Approx. 3 months

SCHEUDLE: Part-time (20 hours/week)

HOURLY PAY: $15.00 – $18.00/hour

 

Is This Your Dream Job? The ideal candidate will supporting the Chief Development Officer and their team. The candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, and have the ability to balance multiple tasks. The candidate will be in charge of creating materials via PowerPoint slides for partnership meetings. Be able to edit and accept critique to make changes to documents including proposals. The candidate will also be able to handle executive calendar management, book flights, hotels, and itineraries. The candidate will report to the Chief Development Officer. This is a professional work environment.

 

Our Ideal Candidate:

  • 2+ Years of Administrative Assistant experience
  • Associates Degree
  • Experiences with Salesforce or other Blackbaud products is a plus
  • Must be proficient in MS Office specifically PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Ability to work in fast paced environment, multitask, and excellent customer service.

 

How You Will Spend Your Day:

  • Support Chief Development Officer and their team
  • Calendar and travel arraignments
  • Create and edit proposals
  • Additional duties as assigned
