We are currently in search of a Bookkeeper for a Social Services Organization. The position is based in Chicago, IL. This is a part-time, temporary assignment.
ORGANIZATION TYPE: Social Services Organization
LOCATION: Chicago, IL (South Chicago)
POSITION TITLE: Bookkeeper
DURATION: Temporary, On – going
SCHEDULE: 10 – 15 hours/week
HOURLY PAY: $15.00/hour
Is This Your Dream Job? The Bookkeeper works closely with the Executive Director in overseeing incoming invoices and recording monthly deposits. The bookkeeper will need to visit the office 2 days per week. This role is looking to get someone started ASAP!
Our Ideal Candidate:
- 1+ year of accounting/invoicing experience required
- Degree strongly preferred, but not required
- Prior experience working with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel) required
- Experience with Financial Edge or similar software preferred, but not required
- Able to work in-office
