We are currently in search of a Development Assistant for an Advocacy Association. The position is based in Washington, DC. This is a part-time, temporary assignment.
ORGANIZATION TYPE: Advocacy Association
LOCATION: Hyattsville, MD
POSITION TITLE: Development Assistant
DURATION: 1 month
SCHEUDLE: Part-time (20 hours/week)
HOURLY PAY: $15.00 – $16.00/hour
Is This Your Dream Job? The ideal candidate would aid the organization in donor relations, assist the grant writing process, and update their database. The candidate will be organized, attention to detail, and thrive in a fast-pace work environment. The candidate would report to the Senior Manager for Development.
Our Ideal Candidate:
- 2 years of development experience
- Must have a background in Nonprofits
- BA preferred
- Salesforce experience is preferred
- Background in a Customer Relations Management system
- Be values and mission driven
How You Will Spend Your Day:
- Assist with event planning
- Maintain the donor database, correspond with donors
- Assemble and organize reports and files
- Write proposals and reports
- Additional duties as assigned
