We are currently in search of a Marketing Manager for an Association. The position is based in Atlanta Metro area. This is a full-time, permanent position.

SALARY: $70,000 – $80,000

 

Is This Your Dream Job? The Marketing Manager is responsible for creating, executing, and managing marketing initiatives for the organization. This individual coordinates with all departments in order to effectively position the services and objectives of the organization through print and online channels. The Marketing Manager works collaboratively with the Fundraising and Programs teams within the organization, reports to the Marketing Director, and has one direct report.

 

Our Ideal Candidate:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Bachelor’s in Marketing Business, Communications or similar field preferred
  • 3-5 years of broad marketing experience, experience in corporate environment and product marketing preferred
  • 1-2 years supervisory experience in marketing preferred
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills, as well as highly developed interpersonal skills
  • Proven project management and time management skills
  • Extensive experience with the social media landscape and ability to implement tactics to enhance engagement
  • Familiarity with products such as CRM, SharePoint, Google Analytics, MS Office, visual communication software products, and creative services
  • Ability to collaborate with practice area leaders
  • Works well with competing and demanding deadlines
  • Knowledge of trends within search engine optimization and search engine marketing
  • Interest in the nonprofit sector; experience in the nonprofit sector a plus
  • Ability to quickly grasp complex concepts and express them clearly
  • Comfortable adapting to changing priorities and willingness to handle new and complex tasks
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends as necessary

 

How You Will Spend Your Day:

  • Responsible for strategy, thought leadership, brand management, marketing campaigns, marketing materials, communication & coordination, market research, website & social media, and administrative tasks.
  • Develop marketing strategy in line with the organization’s objectives and mission that increases market visibility through content generation.
  • Tailor marketing efforts toward new concepts to position the organization as an innovator and leader.
  • Plan, execute, and analyze results of promotional campaigns
  • Manage the overall brand and corporate identity.
  • Coordinate biannual client conference.
  • Document research and analysis to support the creation of articles, blog posts, tweets, quarterly newsletters, and presentations
  • Manage and maintain all aspects of the organization’s website, including: content, design, landing pages, CMS, Search Engine Optimization (SEO), and Search Engine Marketing (SEM)
  • Coordinate with leaders of various internal departments to develop go-to-market strategies
  • Collaborate with others to write case studies, white papers, Webinars in both print and electronic formats
  • Execute targeted outreach campaigns to support consultants in sales efforts by generating new business leads
  • Develop client-centered campaigns to obtain feedback regarding satisfaction and future business needs
  • Track Internet analytics reports to maximize online presence
  • Develop and maintain marketing budget
