We are currently in search of a Trade Show Sales Associate for a National Trade Association. The position is based in Alexandria, VA. This is a full-time, temporary assignment.
ORGANIZATION TYPE: National Trade Association
LOCATION: Alexandria, VA (Braddock Metro)
POSITION TITLE: Trade Show Sales Associate
DURATION: Temporary
SCHEDULE: 37 hours/week
HOURLY: $16.00-19.00/hour
Is This Your Dream Job? Fast-paced office environment preparing for their annual trade show. Employee must be energetic and hard-working in order to encourage potential exhibitors to see the value in purchasing a booth or sponsorship.
Our Ideal Candidate:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of sales experience
- Experience selling trade show booths and sponsorships strongly preferred
- Proficiency with iMIS CRM ideal
- Great work-ethic and energetic attitude
- Ability to conduct targeted prospect research
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Detail-oriented
How You Will Spend Your Day:
- Contacting potential sponsors/exhibitors to sell booths and sponsorships
- Researching potential buyers
- Building relationships and following up on leads as necessary
- Entering data into CRM
