Association Candidate Day

Are you interested in joining a great organization? Do you want to spend your workday making a difference with an association?

We are pleased to announce that Careers In Nonprofits is actively seeking outstanding association talent in the DC/MD/VA area! We are in search of candidates with association experience and an interest in temporary, temporary-to-permanent, and/or direct hire opportunities. We will be hosting an Association Candidate Day to meet with interested job seekers in the Washington, DC area on Thursday, July 20, 2017 and would love to see you there!

We are currently looking for candidates who have  association experience. We are particularly searching for candidates with a background in the following areas:

Development/Fundraising Administration Accounting/Finance
Marketing/Communications Programs Case Management
Human Resources IT Database Management
Membership Prospect Research Business Development


Candidates who do not meet these qualifications may not be accommodated, depending on availability.

This event is reserved for those who have not yet interviewed at our office.


What can I expect at Prospective Candidate Day?

You will have an opportunity to meet with a CNP hiring expert to discuss your background and career expectations for 10-15 minutes. Come prepared as if this is a first interview. Dress the part and tell us why DC associations need you! You may also have a chance to chat with other professionals interested in working in the sector.

Your 15-minute appointment will also include a complimentary RESUME REVIEW. This is a chance for a hiring expert to assess your resume and offer personalized recommendations.

After you RSVP, you will receive a tentative 15-minute appointment based on current availability. Your appointment is not confirmed until you accept your assigned time and receive a confirmation email.

Please note that following your appointment, you may be invited to return for a more in-depth follow-up interview.
