We are currently in search of a Grant Writer for a Healthcare Association The position is Remote. This is an ongoing, temporary assignment.

POSITION TITLE: Grant Writer
DURATION: Temporary, Ongoing
SCHEDULE: 37.5 hours/week
HOURLY PAY: $19.00-$19.50 

Is This Your Dream Job? The temporary Grant Writer will provide a scientific and public health lens for the development team to write grant proposals for continuing education funding. This is a great opportunity for someone with an educational or professional background in writing about public health topics who is looking to expand their skill set into grant writing.

Our Ideal Candidate:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s of Public Health preferred
  • 1+ year of experience in scientific/healthcare writing
  • Experience with writing literature reviews strongly preferred
  • Proficient with MS Word and Outlook required
  • Exposure to PubMed or other academic literature databases preferred
  • Experience with EndNote a plus
  • Must be able to work remotely (laptop will be provided)

How You Will Spend Your Day:

  • Work within existing grant template to write proposals for funding of medical/scientific education activities
  • Review literature and internal learner database to identify education gaps
  • Develop assessments for identifying and addressing gaps in continuing education for medical professionals
  • Provide insight and support to development team on relevant topics
