We are currently in search of a Director of Placement and Intact Services for a Community Services nonprofit. The position is based in Chicago, IL This is a Permanent, Full-Time assignment.

POSITION TITLE: Director of Placement and Intact Services

DURATION: Full Time,

SALARY: $70,000 – $80,000/annually, with full benefits

Is This Your Dream Job? Overview: Reporting to Sr. Director of Child Welfare Programs, this role ensures the implementation of all operational standards and program policies and procedures, management of program budgets, monitoring of client services, and involvement to quality assurance efforts. The candidate will supervise the Program Supervisors, and Permanency Specialist and have primary responsibility to staff recruitment and hiring. This position requires the incumbent to pass certain security clearances per Federal and State client contracts. The role will operate remotely with the expectation to be out in the field at times.

 

Our Ideal Candidate:

  • 5+ years of management experience in licensed child welfare agency required
  • Master’s degree in Social Work
  • Valid driver’s license and access to personal transportation required
  • Strong knowledge and experience working in a foster care program setting
  • Knowledgeable of current child welfare standards and best practices
  • LCSW certification is a plus

How You Will Spend Your Day:

  • Primary responsible in managing systems around the collection of data and data reporting around key program indicators, outputs and outcomes.
  • Provide training and technical assistance for all program staff in order to ensure program quality and professional development opportunities.
  • Prepare reports as required by funding or accrediting agencies or as requested.
  • Work collaboratively with other agency directors and managers to reduce organizational redundancy, promote the delivery of integrated person-centered services and achieve the agency’s strategic and annual goals and targets.
  • Represents the organization on DCFS and child welfare related committees, workgroups as schedule permits.
