We are currently searching for a Marketing Programs Coordinator for a Media Association. The position is based in the Washington D.C. Metro Area. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity.

SCHEDULE: Fulltime, Permanent; Onsite with remote flexibility

SALARY: $55,000-$60,000/year with excellent benefits available

Reporting to the VP of Marketing, the Marketing Programs Coordinator will support the overall marketing and membership initiatives by coordinating successful marketing awards programs, event management, digital marketing execution, reporting, project management, and marketing operations.  You are a self-starter, able to take the initiative, and an engaged team player with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously.

How You Will Spend Your Day:

Webinar Production 

  • Own all aspects of webinar production, working closely with all teams to ensure successful internal alignment and execution of organization’s thought leadership and sponsored webinars
  • Manage webinar interactivity: chat capabilities, polling, online Q&A, breakouts, surveys, and act as webinar producer
  • Create run of show, prepare, and give instructions and tech support to presenters and attendees regarding webinar events

Event Planning 

  • Participate in the ideation of event strategy, including event experience
  • Support management of conferences (virtual and live events) from inception to execution: including registration lists, venue sourcing, contract negotiation, workflows
  • Manage & support the build of virtual event and streaming platforms with production and operation teams
  • Work with the marketing team to produce signage and printed collateral for the event
  • Coordinate the awards programs- from call to entry to production- for OBIE, Medial Plan, Industry, and Local Case Study. Planning elements include but are not limited to:
    • Building landing pages
    • Editing videos
    • Managing judging process
    • Handling submissions
    • Event Logistics

Marketing Operations

  • Work closely with all members of the marketing team to help engineer, implement, document, and streamline marketing processes, including but not limited to:
    • proactively creating, updating, and managing materials for meetings
    • recording minutes for committee meetings as needed
    • maintaining marketing status document
    • keeping marketing calendar up to date and developing and maintaining trackers for marketing initiatives
  • Proactively develop and implement internal project management processes for the website, events, awards, and other marketing initiatives
  • Work closely with Director of Digital Strategy & Marketing Programs to regularly audit and report on social media engagement, draft and schedule evergreen posts, and design creative for social/email as needed
  • Collect, format, and curate case studies and creative library additions. Provide ongoing recommendations for external use
  • Proactively derive regular analytics from HubSpot about members and how they are engaging with our website, tools, and content
  • Support CMO by managing travel, expense reports, day-to-day calendar management, and helping to format and update decks

Our Ideal Candidate:

  • BS/BA degree required
  • 3+ years of nonprofit marketing and events experience; association experience preferred
  • Active practice and use of Adobe Creative Suite required
  • Experienced in marketing automation tools such as Hubspot, MailChimp, WordPress, or Canva
  • Ability to creatively think outside the box and offer unique solutions to projects and events
  • Video editing skills are a plus
  • Excellent oral, written, and editorial skills
