We are currently in search of an Event Assistant for a Community Services Organization. The position is based in Washington DC. This is a full-time, temporary assignment.

ORGANIZATION TYPE: Community Services Organization
LOCATION: Washington, DC (Southeast)
POSITION TITLE: Event Assistant
DURATION: Temporary
SCHEDULE: 37.5 hours/week
HOURLY PAY: $15.00 – $16.00/hour

Is This Your Dream Job? This position will provide assistance in executing 2-3 community and donor events per month.

Our Ideal Candidate:
• Bachelor’s degree required
• 1+ year of experience executing community events required
• Strong organizational skills
• Proficient with MS Office Suite
How You Will Spend Your Day:
• Order and track event supplies and materials
• Coordinate registration and RSVP’s
• Contact and negotiate with vendors including caterers and venues
• Assist with administrative tasks
• Log and track data related to event attendees and outcomes
