We are currently in search of a Maintenance Lead for a Social Services Organization. The position is based in Savannah, GA. This is a full-time, temporary-to-permanent position.

LOCATION:  Savannah, GA
POSITION TITLE:  Maintenance Lead
DURATION: Full-Time, Temporary-to-Permanent
SALARY: $8.00 – $8.50/hr.

The Maintenance Lead will perform minor to intermediate indoor and outdoor repairs in the areas of carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical building maintenance activities.  They will troubleshoot and coordinate activities of more skilled tradesmen in these specialized areas as needed. S/He will possess the ability to interact professionally to achieve the maximum results with colleagues, residents, vendors, contractors and other internal and external customers.

Drug testing, clean motor vehicle, and criminal background clearance is required.

Our Ideal Candidate:

  • 3-5 years maintenance work or related experience required
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Certification in facilities/apartment maintenance preferred
  • Physically able to perform the essential functions of the job including climbing, lifting, bending, moving furniture, and picking up donated items
  • Computer knowledge to prepare reports
