We are currently in search of a Membership and Administration Manager for a Membership Association. The position is based in Washington DC. This is a full-time, permanent assignment.

DURATION: Permanent

SALARY: 53,000 – 55,000/annual

Is This Your Dream Job? The Membership and Administration Manager will be managed by the VP of Membership and Administration. The Membership and Administration’s main focus is to support the membership and administration team: processing dues, providing financial reports, and general administrative support. The Membership and Administration Manager needs to be confident, collaborative, and have the ability to take initiative. The work schedule will be 8am – 4pm.

Our Ideal Candidate:

  • 4-5 years of membership experience at an association
  • BA/BS in Business, Marketing, or a related field; required
  • Strong customer service skills, required
  • Strong writing and communication skills, required
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks to meet deadlines
  • MS Office Suite experience, required
  • Membership database and social media experience
  • Ability to research and analyze information accurately
  • Doesn’t need to be micromanaged, is confident, and is outgoing

How You Will Spend Your Day:

  • Processing dues payments on a daily basis and post transaction batches
  • Generate and send monthly dues invoices
  • Prepare and send membership certificates
  • Provide ongoing assistance and backup as needed for the VP of Membership and Administration
  • Provide general administrative support to the team as needed
  • Research for new members and sending out packets for annual convention
  • Process accounts payables and credit card reports
  • Record donation receipts and send thank you letters
