We are currently in search of a Nonprofit Foundation Coordinator for an Association. The position is based in Rolling Meadows, IL.

 

ORGANIZATION TYPE: Association

POSITION TITLE: Nonprofit Foundation Coordinator

DURATION: Temporary- ongoing

SCHEDULE: Full time (37.5 hours/week)

HOURLY PAY: $16.00 – $20.00/hour

 

Is This Your Dream Job? This position supports the charitable arm of the Association with facilitating the development and delivery of the foundation’s research and educational programs. The Foundation Coordinator provides grant administration and submission support for resident and fellows courses; supports set up and administration of candidate applications for research grants and awards; and provides operational and administrative support for the Foundation. This is a great opportunity for someone who is currently unemployed and looking to start a new position ASAP.

Our Ideal Candidate:

  • 2+ years of development experience required
  • Previous association and/or medical device/pharmaceutical industry experience preferred
  • Management experience in grant portal submissions including detailed reconciliation and reporting work and demonstrated project management skills
  • Prior experience with MS Office Suite required, proficiency in Excel a must
  • Familiarity with membership or fundraising databases is required
  • Ability to manage donor pipelines and follow-up communication
  • Organizational skills with high attention to detail and time
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects required 

How You Will Spend Your Day:

  • Develops, coordinates, and implements the NREF research grants, awards and fellowship application, submission and review processes
  • Communicates with key stakeholders throughout the cycle and ensures execution of payments within agreed upon timeframes
  • Manages event set-up in association management system (AMS) database and website for foundation’s programs, ensuring that all event logistics are included
  • Submits industry grant requests for NREF education and research award programs.
  • Performs ongoing management of approved funds/grants that includes reporting, budget reconciliation, and any outcomes reporting
  • Provides administrative support for assigned committees by developing agenda materials/reports and attending committee meetings as needed
