We are currently in search of a Nonprofit Scholarship Administrator for a Foundation. This position is based in Schaumburg, IL.

Duration: Temporary, ongoing
Schedule: Part-time (20 hours/week)
Hourly Rate: $15-$18/hour
Is This Your Dream Job? The Nonprofit Scholarship Administrator will directly support and assist the Program Manager with the Foundation’s scholarship programs. The primary responsibilities include the administration of the Academic Works software and assisting with the coordination of the scholarship review periods. This is a great opportunity for someone who is currently unemployed and looking to start a new position ASAP.
Our Ideal Candidate:
- 2+ years of scholarship or membership management preferred
- Proficient in MS Office Suite
- Knowledge of membership database or CRM a plus
- Must possess effective written and oral communication skills and strategic and analytical thinking skills
- Able to work well under pressure, meet deadlines, manage multiple projects, and prioritize competing responsibilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a group and contribute to a positive office culture
How You Will Spend Your Day:
- Manage scholarship applications via Academic Works, the Foundation’s web-based scholarship application program including managing the appropriate, timely opening, closing and archiving of application periods
- Support the scholarship committees so that they can complete their reviews in a timely manner
- Assist with the administrative tasks associated with awarding scholarships
- Maintain all scholarship communications, timelines, and reporting
