Do you have 3+ years of project management experience?

 

We are currently in search of a Project Manager for a Health Advocacy Organization. The position is Remote. This is a part-time, temporary assignment.

 

ORGANIZATION TYPE: Health Advocacy Organization

LOCATION: Remote (EST)

POSITION TITLE: Project Manager

DURATION: Temporary (~6-9 months)

SCHEDULE: 15-20 hours/week

HOURLY PAY: $30.00 – $34.00

 

Is This Your Dream Job? The Project Manager will work with a C-Suite committee on new grant-funded initiatives. This person will serve as the key organizer, keeping projects on time, following up on deliverables and creating structure. Being surrounded by a group of people bringing big-ideas to the table, it is critical that this person is able maintain group focus, prioritize tasks and track progress towards project goals. This is a part-time role, that will begin with 1-2 projects to work on, but could grow into something full-time with 4-5 projects being managed at a time.

 

Our Ideal Candidate:

  • 3+ years of project management experience required
  • Prior experience working with a Project Management software (Asana preferred) required
  • Nonprofit project management experience a plus
  • PMP Certificate a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree a plus

 

How You Will Spend Your Day:

  • Lead committee meetings; creating agendas, taking notes and following up on tasks to be completed
  • Take ideas from the committee and put them to timelines and concrete deliverables
  • Track project timelines, following up on deliverables as needed
  • Liaise and collaborate with other departments on project deliverables as needed
  • Maintain all project documentation and metrics
  • Other duties as required to bring each project to a close
