We are currently in search of a Special Projects Coordinator for a Foundation. The position is based in Washington, DC. This is a full-time, permanent assignment.


LOCATION: Washington, DC

POSITION TITLE: Special Projects Coordinator

SCHEDULE: Full-time (40 hours/week)

Salary: $60-70K/annual

Is This Your Dream Job? The ideal candidate will coordinate a broad array of projects, support the work of the Board, and assist in collaborative activities of the Foundation. The candidate will also coordinate and administer meetings and events, occasionally having to take minutes. The candidate will assist in the administering of strategic initiatives. Additionally, the candidate will support general communications efforts and assist with updates to the website. The candidate will be a self-starter who is outgoing, interpersonal, and possess excellent written and oral communications skills. The candidate must be a problem solver, multitasker, and eager to take on new challenges. The candidate will report to the Vice President.

Our Ideal Candidate:

  • 3+ years of project administration experience
  • Associate’s Degree
  • Uses Microsoft Office Suite
  • Dynamic, articulate, and organized
  • Self-starter with the ability to multi-task and effectively communicate
  • Travel required 

How You Will Spend Your Day:

  • Support strategic initiatives by coordination of a broad array of projects
  • Plan, organize and staff meetings and events
  • Support communications efforts, complete research, write reports
  • Support the work of special task forces
  • Develop the annual event calendar
  • Interact with stakeholders
  • Work with the VP
  • Additional duties as assigned
