We are currently in search of a Technology Support Assistant for a Legal Services Organization. The position is based in Washington DC. This is a full-time, temporary assignment.

LOCATION: Washington, DC (Georgetown)
POSITION TITLE: Technology Support Assistant
DURATION: Temporary (~3 months)
SCHEDULE: 37.5 hours/week
HOURLY PAY: $15.00 – $20.00/hour

Is This Your Dream Job? This position will support staff in the use of technology and assisting a larger team with major upgrades and system deployments.

Our Ideal Candidate:
• Minimum of Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of help desk/IT experience or 6+ years of relevant experience
• Strong teaching and coaching skills with the ability to work with diverse groups of people
• Proficient with operating standard office equipment including computers and copy machines
• Expertise in standard office applications including MS Office, web browsers and Adobe Acrobat required
• Additional experience with Salesforce, Drupal, Google Apps, Box and Office 365 strongly preferred
• Must be able to life and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds

How You Will Spend Your Day:
• Serve as primary resource for providing help-desk service/end-user problem resolution support to staff and outside members
• Install, troubleshoot, repair, test, configure and maintain servers, PCs, laptops, tablets, smartphones, printers and network equipment
• Set up AV equipment for meetings and presentations
• Coordinate GoToMeeting webinars with staff
• Works with Office of IT and other staff to assess technology requirements and assist with implementing upgrades and new systems
• Assist end-users with software selections in order to maximize efficiency
• Other duties as assigned
