Recruiting is a core strategic driver of CNP’s success. We have an outstanding team working
together to help nonprofit organizations push their missions forward. We are passionate
about delivering an out-of-this-world candidate/client experience, and that starts with their first
interaction with us. As a Recruiter, you will manage the full cycle of recruitment by sourcing, phone
screening, and interviewing qualified nonprofit professional candidates to develop a strong
candidate pool for direct-hire opportunities. Additionally, Recruiters develop a pipeline of new
business with nonprofit organizations and associations in the Washington, DC Metro Area.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Consult with nonprofits to understand their needs for vacant positions
- Manage the full cycle hiring process including sourcing, pre-screening, interviewing, candidate selection, offer negotiation, and onboarding
- Design and execute customized, full cycle staffing plans, partnering closely with hiring managers to achieve the best results possible
- Find and engage unique and passive candidates through creative sourcing techniques
- Provide consistent communication with both hiring managers and candidates throughout the recruiting process to ensure an efficient hiring experience
- Establish and maintain meaningful relationships with prospective clients to develop a pipeline of business
- Conduct professional reference checks and complete on-boarding paperwork for placed candidates
- Post/market job descriptions to relevant outlets, including social media
- Regularly manage pipeline activity and maintain data integrity
- Problem-solving across all stages of the hiring cycle
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- 3-5 years of professional work experience
- Possess leadership and strategic thinking skills
- Demonstrated success in fast-paced Recruiting or Sales environment
- Proficient in MS Office Suite
- Experience influencing and driving toward results
- Strong writing, proofreading and editing skills
- Ability to work in a team-based environment
- Must demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities and have experience interacting with all level of leadership
