We are currently in search of a Database Coordinator for a nonprofit organization. The position is based in downtown Chicago, IL. This is a temporary-to-permanent, full-time assignment.

SALARY: $15.00 – $18.00/hour 

Is This Your Dream Job? The Database Coordinator will be responsible for maintaining accurate and concise program data.

Our Ideal Candidate:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Experience with Raiser’s Edge + NetCommunity Software
  • Experience working with Microsoft packages (Word, Office 365, Excel, Power Point, Adobe Reader) required
  • Sensitivity to cultural diversity is required
  • Ability to communicate and cooperate with diverse families, various professionals and community groups.
  • Ability to speak effectively before funder, external partners or employees
  • Exercise discretion and independent judgement in executing tasks.

How You Will Spend Your Day:

  • Responsible for entering data, uploading documents
  • Obtains missing and/or correct erroneous data; upholds data quality standards; and ensures staff is capturing required data.
  • Ensures maintenance of data system
  • Responsible for maintaining accuracy of multiple data spreadsheets
  • Responsible for monthly reports required by funder
  • Analyzes and presents program and outcomes data for internal and external audiences.
  • Provide ad hoc reports, as needed.
  • Responsible for maintaining a quality filing system of client files.
  • Attends & participates in team meetings, staff meetings, supervision with Manager, and trainings/professional development opportunities as required.
  • Strong ability to network, develop and maintain professional partnerships with funder and internal/external providers.
  • Oversees data entry and provides data entry support when needed.
  • Maintain office supply orders.
  • Submit monthly safety inspection sheets and first aid checklists.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines.
  • Exhibit cross-cultural sensitivity.
  • Other duties as assigned.
