We are currently in search of an Executive Director of Finance and Administration for a Professional Membership Association. The position is based in Herndon, VA. This is a full-time, temporary assignment.

DURATION: Temporary
SCHEDULE: 40 hours/week
HOURLY PAY: $35.00 – $40.00/hour
Is This Your Dream Job? We are currently looking for an Interim Executive to help a growing non-profit during a transition phase. This Interim Executive will lead the finance and administration departments. We are looking for a strong professional, who has an extensive financial background, preferably at a CFO level. This professional should also have an in-depth knowledge of contracts, as they will be reviewing and approving them as well an understanding of IT.
Our Ideal Candidate:
- Master’s Degree preferred
- At least 3 years of senior management experience, preferably at the CFO or COO level
- Experienced with reviewing and approving government contracts
- IT knowledge a plus
- Proficient with netForum and Microsoft Dynamics (Great Plains)
- Collaborative and a strong leader
How You Will Spend Your Day:
- Financial management including budgeting, accounting and inventory
- Operations management including vendors and contract review
- Serving on the CEO’s board to contribute to meetings about new and existing programs
- Communicating with IT Consultant to resolve issues
- Human Resources management as needed
