We are currently in search of an Administrative Coordinator for a Professional Association.The position is based in Washington, DC. This is a full-time, temporary to permanent assignment.

POSITION TITLE: Administrative Coordinator

DURATION: Temporary-to-Permanent

SCHEDULE: 35 hours/week

HOURLY PAY: $15.00 – $17.00/hour

Is This Your Dream Job? Seeking an experienced individual to provide coordination and project management support to the Vice President, Membership Services and Operations department staff. Seeking a self-starter with prior membership association experience, great written and oral communication skills as well as strong project coordination aptitude.

Our Ideal Candidate:

  • Minimum of 2 years in administrative support and project coordination required
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Demonstrated advanced skills of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Flexible and meticulously organized
  • Prior experience with a membership database (iMIS) preferred

How You Will Spend Your Day:

  • Assist project managers in creating and maintaining resources for education programs
  • Assist in providing support to Section and Chapter leaders including maintaining accurate leadership records in the association database
  • Provide support for association webinars
  • Support the election process for section/chapter leaders
  • Assist the VP and other department staff with administrative tasks
