We are currently in search of an Accounting Manager – Accounts Receivable for an Association. The position is based in Chicago, IL. This is a full-time, temporary to permanent assignment.

POSITION TITLE: Accounting Manager – Accounts Receivable
DURATION: Temporary to Permanent
SCHEUDLE: Full-time (35 hours/week)
HOURLY PAY: $23.00 – $26.00/hour
SALARY: $63,000 – $70,000
Is This Your Dream Job? The Accounting Manager – Accounts Receivable will work closely with the Controller. The position will manage daily activities of Accounts Receivable, including reviewing and approving daily and monthly process, monitor association’s in-house cash receipts module and third-party processing company transactions such as publishing, subscription and conference activities. This position will also assist with month-end close and year-end audits.
Our Ideal Candidate:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
- CPA, preferred
- 2+ years’ professional experience in Accounting, required
- 2+ years’ professional experience in Accounts Receivable, required
- Experience working with Quickbooks, Excel, and iMIS
- Experience working with Excel, Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience working with an association, preferred
- Strong multi-tasker with the ability to maintain in a fast paced environment
- Resourceful, and detail oriented
- Reliable, team player with a passion for mission driven work
