We are currently in search of a Database Clerk for a Social Services Organization. The position is based in San Francisco. This is a temp assignment.
ORGANIZATION TYPE: Social Services Organization
LOCATION: Sausalito, CA
POSITION TITLE: Database Clerk
DURATION: Temp-to-Perm
SALARY: $17-20/hr
Is This Your Dream Job? This position is devoted to providing data entry for the organization using Raiser’s Edge. It requires a high level of comfort with data entry into Excel spreadsheets. You will be assisting with a transition into a digital system, from the organizations archives. You will use your eye for detail and strong time management skills to see this project through to completion!
Our Ideal Candidate:
- Strong interpersonal communication skills, time management and organizational skills
- 1-2 years of experience in nonprofit data entry preferred
- Basic understanding of databases
- Able to accurately type and enter data; knowledge of typing systems
- Raiser’s Edge Required
How You Will Spend Your Day:
- Pulling reports and entering information into the computerized database
- Maintains data entry requirements by following data program techniques and procedures
- Perform regular backups to ensure data preservation
- Assisting in entry of checks and credit cards in Raiser’s Edge
- Assisting with Thank You’s and mailings
