We are currently in search of a Database Coordinator for a Social Services organization. The position is based in Chicago, IL. This is a temporary, full-time assignment.

POSITION TITLE: Database Coordinator
DURATION: Temporary, Part Time to Full Time
SALARY: $15.00 – $18.00/hour
Is This Your Dream Job? The development team is responsible for leading all aspects of the organizations vital fundraising initiatives. The Database Coordinator will be responsible for managing a variety of integral programs including our direct mail, special events, special appeals and stewardship of existing donors.
Our Ideal Candidate:
• Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred
• Experience using Salesforce, Raiser’s Edge, and Salsa databases
• 1-2 years development experience preferred
• Strong computer skills a plus
• High energy, customer service driven, and patient with clients
• Understands importance of confidential information
• Excellent written, verbal, and analytical skills
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
How You Will Spend Your Day:
• Draft correspondence, including emails, thank you letters, and proposals
• Log gifts and donations into database
• Respond to donor calls and questions
• Conduct research on prospective donors
• Execute large mailing campaigns
• Manage donor records and databases
