We are currently in search of a Nonprofit Development and Communications Writer for a Healthcare Organization. This project-based position is remote.

POSITION TITLE: Nonprofit Development and Communications Writer
DURATION: Temporary, Ongoing
SCHEDULE: Flexible
HOURLY PAY: $18.00-$20.00/hour
Is This Your Dream Job? The Nonprofit Development Communications Writer will assist the Executive Director in creating communication pieces to engage donors, members, and prospective clients. This is a great position for someone who is open to a project-based workload and flexible hours.
Our Ideal Candidate:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 4+ more years of nonprofit experience preferred
- Compassion and respect for the mission
- Must be detail-oriented and deadline-driven
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, listening, and writing skills
- Experience with writing through a fundraising and development lens
- Has an eye for storytelling and a willingness to talk with donors and members
- Demonstrated knowledge of composing external marketing communications
- Ability to juggle a combination of prospect research, marketing, and calendar management tasks
- Videography experience a plus
