CNP Helps Candidates Find Nonprofit Executive Jobs They Love

With over 25+ years of industry experience, CNP knows the nonprofit industry. We understand that working in the nonprofit sector can be rewarding in both tangible and intangible ways. But we also recognize that building a long-term career in the nonprofit segment can be challenging. Worker conditions can vary from organization to organization, and the risk of burnout is real, as we learned firsthand from a follower on our Facebook page. This person had this to say about their experience working in the nonprofit sector:

“I have a degree in nonprofit fundraising and spent a decade working in the nonprofit sector. If anyone reading this is considering a career in nonprofits, I urge you not to do it. The pay is awful, and the hours are exploitative. Whatever passion you feel now will be suffocated out of you by incompetent and toxic mismanagement. Go into government work instead and make the world a better place while getting a decent salary and benefits. Spend your extra time advocating to local and national politicians to spend tax dollars effectively. You’ll have a happier life and get more done at the same time.
